This weeks assignment I will be writing about a glitch from one of my favorite games Skyrim. When it comes to Bethesda you could easily write a book on its glitches but that is only natural from games as large and detailed like Skyrim. The glitch I will be mentioning is one that is not really that horrible in comparison to some game breaking glitches. The glitch happens at random and causes dragons in the game to fly backwards. As far as I know this glitch has no real triggers and happens completely at random.

As Pedro Ferreira and Luisa Ribas state in their article “Considering the diversity of glitch, digital media scholar Iman Moradi categorizes glitches into “Pure Glitch” and “Glitch-alike.”” (pg. 3). By the definition from thee article I would assume the dragon glitch is a pure glitch and not in some way intentional. Most likely it is caused by some sort of random trigger that either the player, the dragon, or a random event in the world triggers at any given time. Regardless it is still a funny glitch to see in the moment for i have actually witnessed it myself. It didn’t ruin the gameplay for me if anything i shrugged it off and laughed because hey it was funny.
